No current official Crow Wing Sheriff mobile app was found with inmate search, release listings, or preserved booking photos. An older tip-submission product did not function as a jail roster. Ring Neighbors is not an inmate search. Directing someone to either as a released-photo source would be inaccurate.
Crow Wing Roster Photos Vanish
The Crow Wing County Jail In Custody roster shows Photo, MNI, Name, Sex, Age, Booking Number, Intake Date, and Charges. Charge details can include the level, hold or custody phrase, statute, description, and bail. It shows no release date, release reason, next custodian, archive, or 24-hour and 72-hour filter.
A displayed timestamp tells when the page was rendered. It does not reveal the update schedule or how soon a row is removed after physical release. If the person remains listed, the roster reports current county custody at that time. If the row is gone, the absence does not say whether the person returned to the community, transferred to DOC, entered another county's custody, or moved to ICE.

Request a Crow Wing Booking Photo

No Crow Wing page states a fixed booking-photo price or guaranteed response time, so neither should be assumed.
The county's Data Practices request information states that government data are presumed public unless classified otherwise. A requester need not identify themselves merely to inspect public data, though remote delivery needs enough contact information to respond. Requests and responses may themselves be public data.

Crow Wing DOC Release Photos
A person sentenced from Crow Wing County to a Minnesota prison may have a photograph in the Minnesota DOC Public Viewer. That is a DOC identification photo tied to the state corrections record. It is not automatically the same image taken at Crow Wing County Jail, and ordinary short county bookings do not appear just because they occurred.
The Public Viewer may show a name, MNDOC identification number, age or birth data, photo, custody or supervision status, offense entries, sentence information, and release-related dates. Its public scope centers on adults committed to the Commissioner who remain within DOC jurisdiction. Commercial mugshot publishers and data brokers are not reliable confirmation sources. Their copies may be old, cropped, mislabeled, or detached from a later dismissal, acquittal, release, or expungement. No such service is linked here, and no paid-removal vendor is endorsed. When a copied image is found, trace it back to the official booking, release record, and court case.
Match Crow Wing Release Photos
A Crow Wing booking photo should be tied to one booking episode before it is treated as the requested image. Names can repeat, and surnames may change. The live roster's MNI and booking number serve different roles: the MNI helps identify the person in the local system, while the booking number identifies a specific intake. The court case number identifies a proceeding, and an MNDOC number identifies a person within the state corrections system. None should be swapped for another without checking the source.
When requesting a photo, include the known booking date and local booking number or MNI. Compare the returned image with the name, age, intake date, and charges shown for that episode. Then use MCRO to read the disposition and the jail release fields to find the actual departure. A DOC image can support identity after a state commitment, but it should not be labeled the Crow Wing County booking photograph unless the agency confirms that source.
Timing matters too. A copied roster screen can remain online after the official row disappears, and an old press release can rank above a newer court event. Record when each page was retrieved.
